Annual Meeting, presented by South State Bank - Held in the first quarter each year, this event features high-profile speakers, the traditional passing of the gavel, and the presentation of the Lester S. Small Business Marketing Academy - Comprehensive. Classroom Style. Curriculum Driven. The Academy is an opportunity for small businesses to learn, share and plan for a growing thriving business. Participants come together once a month over 6 months to learn from local industry experts and develop a customized strategic marketing plan. Must apply to attend. Women in Business Luncheons - These monthly luncheons offer women and men the opportunity to have lunch, socialize, and learn about topics that affect their personal and professional lives. Cost to Attend: $30 for members, $40 prospective members. Sponsorships Are Available.
The Annual Women in Business Signature Event - Held each fall, the Signature Event is one of the largest events in Augusta featuring nationally renowned speakers that exemplify role models. Cost to Attend: $55 for members, $65 prospective members. Sponsorships Are Available.
Annual Golf Classic, presented by State Bank & Trust Co. - Held each May, the annual golf outing is held on the beautiful 27–hole Gordon Lakes Golf Course and features an 18–hole shotgun start scramble with over 200 players. Sponsorships Are Available.
Member Town Hall - These meetings are an opportunity to meet and converse with the leadership of the Chamber and learn more about Chamber initiatives.
