Citizen’s Review Panel for Transportation Investment Act

Two prominent chamber leaders sit on the Citizens Review Panel for the Central Savannah River District.  Phillip Wahl, Market President of First Community Bank and the 2010 Chairman of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, as well as James Kendrick, President of Augusta Blueprint and the 2005 Chairman of the Augusta Metro Chamber, both serve on the Region 7 panel.  Both Mr. Wahl and Mr. Kendrick currently serve on the Augusta Metro Chamber’s Advocacy Committee and provide valuable expertise on matters of public policy impacting business.

The purpose of the T-SPLOST Citizen’s Review Panel is to assemble a group of local citizens to oversee the list of voter-approved transportation projects and monitor their progress. They are tasked with providing accountability by ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within budget.
