Wennie Squires, MBA - Cyber Career Success Coordinator at the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center

Wennie is the Cyber Career Success Coordinator at the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center with Augusta University. With a passion to drive student success, she prepares technical college and university students to advance their professional development and partners with industry professionals to create experiential learning opportunities for students. At Augusta University, she created the JAGByte Living-Learning Community and Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center Internship program.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Wennie joined Augusta University in 2011. She serves on the AU Staff Council as the Communications Committee Chair and representative for the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center. She previously served on the Enrollment Management Council, Intranet Advisory Committee, Orientating Steering Committee, and Scholarship and Financial Assistance Committee for Augusta University. Wennie holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Augusta University and received her board certification in Radiologic Technology from the Stephen W. Brown, MD, School of Radiography.

Abigail Bowman - College Partner, Curriculum, and Pipeline Development Lead with the SRS Apprenticeship Program

Abigail Bowman serves as the College Partner, Curriculum, and Pipeline Development Lead at the SRS Apprenticeship Program. With a background in education, she is passionate about enhancing apprentice development. Abigail’s mission is to ensure that graduates emerge as highly skilled, knowledgeable workers who consistently exceed operations best practices in a culture of nuclear safety. Her educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Augusta University (2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education (Math and Language Arts) from Covenant College (2003). With 16 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and leadership, Abigail joined SRS in 2019 as an instructor at Tritium Training. She has qualified in various roles within Tritium and enjoys facilitating Leadership Training. Abigail became part of the SRS Apprenticeship Program in September 2023, supporting program objectives and gaining valuable leadership experience. Additionally, she is a member of the Leadership Augusta Class of 2024, enhancing her knowledge of the business community and fostering lasting relationships with classmates!
