The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recent promotion of James Allen to Membership Engagement Manager.  In this new role, James will not only continue recruiting and retaining small business and transactional members and implementing transactional member benefits but will now be supporting member engagement through targeted communications and developing technology solutions that maximize peer to peer networking.

As the Membership Engagement Manager, James will be responsible for stratifying communications based on different membership types and analyzing data to create strategic plans for gaining new small business members as well as retaining at least 85% of the Chamber’s current membership.  Two new small business memberships, Connector and Main Street, will be rolled out under his leadership.  James will continue to maximize his technology capabilities with member driven videos and will execute a new, technology-based platform for members to connect and network.

James has been with the Augusta Metro Chamber for over three years and has been “a tremendous asset to the Chamber, and our community at large, and has really showcased his strengths throughout the past year,” Blaire Marvin, Chamber Vice President, emphasized.  Prior to joining the chamber team, James worked as the Community Business Development Manager for Barnes & Noble in Augusta, Georgia.
