Women In Business Panel Discussion on 'Passionately Pursuing a Successful Side Gig’

Join the Augusta Metro Chamber on Tuesday, March 16 at Enterprise Mill Events Center to hear from a panel of female entrepreneurs who are 'Passionately Pursuing a Successful Side Gig.'  In addition to a thriving professional career, these businesswomen also operate a successful side business.  Caroline Ashe, Sales & Marketing Director for Ivey Homes and Plunder Jewelry Stylist; Stephanie Maciaszek, AU Health Provider Relations Specialist and Independent ZYIA Active Senior Representative; and Pam Hunt, Advanced Practice Nurse at AU Health and Rodan + Fields Consultant, will share why they started their side gig, the challenges and accomplishments they’ve realized, and what one should consider before taking the plunge.

 

Caroline Ashe has been a leader in Augusta’s real estate community for 19 years.  In 2015, she joined Ivey Homes as their Sales & Marketing Director where she heads company advertising and design, public relations, and the management and growth of Ivey’s sales team.  In her spare time, Caroline is a Plunder Design Jewelry Stylist who loves empowering women and helping them feel more beautiful and confident every day.  Plunder Design is a leading Vintage Jewelry company known for their shabby, vintage style.

 

Stephanie Maciaszek works full time as a Provider Relations Specialist for AU Health at the Georgia Cancer Center. Her role is to help build relationships with the community providers to improve overall communication and access to doctors.  She is also an Independent ZYIA Active Senior Representative.  ZYIA is an active lifestyle brand that believes in embracing activity with excitement, vigor and delight.  Stephanie's love for health and fitness has provided opportunities throughout each industry to inspire and uplift so many people!

 

Pam Hunt is an Advanced Practice Nurse working at AU Health in a busy Perioperative area of the hospital.  Pam started her side gig 6 years ago with Rodan + Fields (R+F) and is now a Premier Level V Executive Consultant.  R+F is a leading skincare brand with a passion for giving people the best skin of their lives - and the confidence that comes with it.  She says R+F has been such a great company to work for and the skincare benefits are phenomenal.  Pam can't wait to share her story with as many people as possible.

 

Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available.  In-person event begins at 11:30 am, seating will be social distanced and boxed lunch is included.  In-person tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for prospective members.  Virtual attendance begins at 11:45 am.  Tickets are $10 for Chamber members, $15 for prospective members and includes a $5 gift card to a local restaurant.  Advanced registration required at augustametrochamber.com/events.
