At the Chamber's March Third Thursday Business Builder, The Blood Connection team will discuss the blood donation process, what goes into their state-of-the-art testing lab/facility, review FDA laws, and break some common myths about blood donation.  Guests will also learn how giving blood or hosting a blood drive can benefit business owners and how The Blood Connection is an integral part of the local business community.

Mercy Myers, Corporate Partnerships Coordinator, The Blood Connection

Mercy Myers has worked for The Blood Connection (TBC) for almost two years helping in both the media/PR and partnerships realms. Mercy coordinates many of the organization’s partnerships which include but are not limited to corporate partnerships, paid partnerships with minor league sports teams, and chamber memberships. Occasionally, Mercy helps with news interviews as well as video content production for TBC as her background is in TV news production.

Mercy enjoys telling people about blood donation and the importance of it to a community’s wellbeing. Since blood cannot be replicated, Mercy says it must be donated by the people of this community on a routine basis.
