Join the Augusta Metro Chamber and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions for June's Women in Business, featuring a panel of women who impacting, influencing, and inspiring change in the CSRA.

Brittany Burnett - President & CEO of United Way CSRA

Brittany joined United Way of the CSRA in July 2018 and has over 20 years of non- profit experience. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Furman University with a BA in Business Administration and Communication Studies and earned her MBA from Georgia State University. While at Furman, she was the recipient of the Winston Babb Memorial Award, which is given to the woman in each class who has demonstrated the most outstanding qualities of leadership, scholarship, and service to the university.

Outside the office, she is heavily involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, services on the Advisory Council for Junior Achievement of Georgia, and is also a member of the Rotary Club of Augusta. Brittany and her husband, Jeff, have two children.


Kari Viola-Brooke - Executive Director for Child Enrichment

Kari Viola-Brooke is the Executive Director of Child Enrichment and began her career there in August 2012. She has her bachelors degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and her Masters in Counselor Education from Augusta University. Kari is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. She is on the faculty for ChildFirst Georgia and trains new interviewers across the state on how to conduct forensic interviews of children who have been abused, neglected and sex trafficked. She was recognized in 2022 as Augusta Metro Chamber Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch and in 2024 with the Distinguished Alumni Award by Augusta University’s College of Education.


Jennifer Toole - Community Impact Director for the American Heart Association in the CSRA

Jennifer Toole is the Community Impact Director with the American Heart Association in the CSRA. A native of the Augusta area, Jennifer has a deep-rooted commitment to her local community, which she proudly calls home. With over 20 years of professional experience serving in Augusta, she is dedicated to advancing the mission of the American Heart Association: to be a relentless force for longer, healthier lives.

In her role, Jennifer has the privilege of working alongside a variety of clinical and community partners to enhance the well-being of residents in our area. With the American Heart Association's century-long legacy of science, innovation, and impact, Jennifer is passionate about bringing the organization’s second century vision to life in our community, advancing health and hope for everyone, everywhere.


Moderated by: Kristin Huber - Acting Manager for Government & Community Relations & Savannah River Site Protocol Office for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions

Kristin Huber serves as Acting Manager for Government & Community Relations and the Savannah River Site (SRS) Protocol Office for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) at SRS in Aiken, S.C.

Her responsibilities include supporting and guiding the staff who manage the SRNS Corporate Philanthropy program; local and federal government relations; strategic community outreach; and the SRS Protocol Office. This team of certified Protocol Officers, event coordinators and Community Relations staff excel in engaging with local stakeholders on SRS missions; and advising and supporting employee giving campaigns.

Huber has more than 15 years of experience in strategic community outreach, engagement, and philanthropy programs with previous experience in non-profit organizations. Prior to joining SRNS, Huber served as a State Training Manager for S.C. and W.V. with the American Cancer Society.
