Beyond the Pages: Women Who Shaped Augusta's History

A live Narration bringing notable Augustan Females to Life

Live Narrations from Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, mother of former President Woodrow Wilson (portrayed by Stephanie Herzburg) who will share what is was like to raise a future US president during his years in Augusta.

Live Narration of a Cotton Mill Worker (portrayed by Kelli Spearman) on what it was like to be a woman working at Enterprise Mill in the late 1800's.

Voices of the Past from Dr. Jean Embry on the other Tubman's, Emily Harvie Thomas Tubman.

A presentation on two women, Lucy Craft Laney and Margaret Louise who impacted Augusta's history as a whole from the Laney Museum of Black History Executive Director, Corey Rogers.
