Merika Fraizer Hawes, MSW, LMSW - Steering Chair NAMI Augusta

Merika Frazier Hawes is a licensed Maser Social Worker, who received her Master’s in Social work from the University of South Carolina. Merika is a dedicated mental health volunteer and advocate; Merika has been a part of the National Alliance of Mental Illness since 2016 and is the current Steering chair of NAMI Augusta. Merika is a trained as both a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Question Persuade Refer instructor. A few of Merika’s hobbies include traveling, spending time with family, advocating for mental health.
