“Am I OK?” Join the Augusta Metro Chamber for a Mental Health Check Up at Women In Business

Augusta, GA (May 10, 2023) – May is Mental Health Awareness Month. On Tuesday, May 16, the Augusta Metro Chamber’s Women In Business Program, presented by Peach State Federal Credit Union, will focus on mental health with special guest Elizabeth Estey of Life Management Group. Elizabeth will be discussing her expertise on mental health, life management, and how we can balance our work and personal life.

 

Elizabeth Estey is the Founder and CEO of Life Management Group. Elizabeth has been a family, marriage and personal life coach for over 40 years and has helped hundreds of families and individuals from coast to coast. Beginning in 1987, she was the original “Nanny 911” for two years in a pilot program she created. Elizabeth is a certified trainer in most of America’s parenting programs and is certified as a temperament/personality practitioner. For twelve years, she was the president of the McDuffie County Child Abuse Prevention Coalition and from 2000 to 2002 she was Executive Director of the Human Relations Commission where she established CSRA’s first Ministerial Alliance. In 2002, she was instrumental in forming the Augusta Initiative Coalition on Race Relations. In 2003, she established Life Management Group, Inc (formerly Georgia-Carolina Parent Academy) where she and a board of directors comprised of doctors, educators and licensed counselors are addressing subject matter related to the importance of effective parenting in the 21st Century, appreciating one’s temperament as it relates to self-understanding, marriage and interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence concerns, youth in trouble, mental health concerns and issues affecting the workplace.

 

The Women In Business Program begins at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church of Augusta.  Tickets are $35 for Chamber members and $45 for prospective members.
