Candidate Forum Recap: Connecting Augusta’s Community with Local Leadership
The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce were proud to once again partner to host a joint Candidate Forum, bringing together members of the Augusta community and local candidates ahead of the upcoming election.
Held April 28–29, 2026, at Augusta Technical College’s Jack B. Patrick Information Technology Center Auditorium, the forum created a space for open dialogue, civic engagement, and informed decision-making.
Over the course of two evenings, candidates for Augusta Commission districts and mayor shared their perspectives on key issues impacting our community. Attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to serve, reinforcing the importance of access, transparency, and participation in the democratic process.
