Celebrating the 2025 Students2Work Program
The 2025 Students2Work program has officially wrapped for the summer, and we’re proud to celebrate the high school students who completed this year’s program. Over the summer, 48 high school students were placed with 25 local businesses to gain hands-on experience, develop and explore potential career paths.
To mark the end of the program, participants, employers, and community leaders came together earlier this week for the Students2Work Celebration Breakfast at First Baptist Church of Augusta. During the breakfast, attendees heard powerful reflections from student interns and celebrated the lasting impact of these meaningful workplace connections.
Students2Work is an initiative of the Workplace Learning Committee, a sub-committee of the Business Education Advisory Council (BEAC), in partnership with the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Richmond County School System. The program supports the Richmond County School System’s vision to ensure students graduate college- and career-ready.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our program sponsors—SRP Federal Credit Union, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), Georgia Power, and Peach State Federal Credit Union—for their generous support and continued investment in workforce development. Your commitment makes opportunities like this possible.
