Grand Slam! An update on the GreenJackets, SRP Park and Riverfront living


Get an inside look at the riverfront development surrounding SRP Park. Join the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and Missy Martin, Vice President of Operations for the Augusta GreenJackets, on Tuesday, March 20 for Women in Business, presented by James M. Hull College of Business, Augusta University.

With their opening game coming in April, Missy will share details on the GreenJackets and their new home, SRP Park. The program will include more information on the Riverside Village development, what our community can look forward to and the impact on both sides of the river these new ventures will have for individuals and businesses alike.

Missy was the former VP of Operations and Human Resources for Ripken Baseball. In 2012, she left Ripken and started her own HR/Operations Consulting firm for the sports industry. In early 2013, she became a minority owner for the GreenJackets. She has over 20 years’ experience in strategic level HR and business operations guiding the companies she has worked for in their performance related to achieving company objectives using strong operational practices.

Tickets for the March Women in Business luncheon are $30 for Chamber members and $40 for prospective-members. The luncheon will be held at the Legends Club and begins at 11:30 am.
