Understanding Georgia's Executive Order: Essential & Non-Essential Business, April 7 Webinar

Join the Augusta Metro Chamber on Tuesday, April 7 for an informative virtual webinar about Georgia’s executive “shelter-in-place” order regarding your business.  Cal Wray with the Augusta Economic Development Authority and Adela Kelley, Georgia Department of Economic Development, will address details of the executive order, classification of essential and non-essential businesses, and what this ultimately means for your business.  Elliot Price with Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute and Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership will also discuss the manufacturing workforce, how leaders are following CDC guidelines, and remaining operational while minimizing employee risk. 

 

Cal Wray, President of the Augusta Economic Development Authority (AEDA), has over 10 years of experience in economic development.  Cal is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional with experience in Organization Management, Industrial Recruitment, Business Retention and Expansion, Workforce Development, Project Management, Land and Building Management, and Incentive Negotiation, analysis, and implementation.

 

Adela Kelley has worked as a Project Manager with the Georgia Department of Economic Development for over 14 years.  Recently, Adela represented the Global Commerce Division on the Parsons Corporation expansion project at the Georgia Cyber Center, a project in partnership with the Augusta Economic Development Authority.

 

Elliot Price has served as the Augusta Region Manager for the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute for 35 years and is a member of the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) team.  Elliot provides technical and managerial assistance to manufacturing and service industries, and connects them to additional resources to help them succeed.
