Building Our Entrepreneurial Eco-system at Chamber Member Town Hall

News Releases,

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce will host a Member Town Hall on Monday, June 11 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chamber office, featuring nine local entrepreneurs participating in theClubhou.se Startup Life program. Guests will learn more about how our community is building and cultivating a thriving entrepreneurial eco-system.

Disruptor, innovator and enterpriser are just some of the titles that can be used to describe entrepreneurs; but fostering creative business opportunity doesn't happen immediately or without community. Come meet the inaugural graduating class of Startup Life at theClubhou.se and gain an inside look into the opportunities this program is providing our local entrepreneurs.

Startup Life is a full immersion startup accelerator program meant to eliminate all the barriers that exist between entrepreneur and success. Startup Life is fully funded by the Kauffman Foundation to support entrepreneur growth in the Augusta area. All program participants are hosted free of charge. In addition to professional support, theClubhou.se provides free dormitory housing, utilities, groceries, bikes, and laptops for entrepreneurs accepted.

The Chamber’s Member Town Hall is complimentary to attend. To register, visit AugustaMetroChamber.com. For more information, contact Sabrina Balthrop, Director of Events, at Sabrina.Balthrop@augustametrochamber.com or by calling 706.821.1300.

The Member Town Hall series is an opportunity to further the conversation on the important issues and opportunities in our Augusta Region. Each program provides a venue to meet and converse with Chamber leadership and industry leaders, and learn more about Chamber initiatives. Members are encouraged to share feedback and opinions on the state of the business community and Chamber programs.
