“Forward Momentum in the Augusta Region” at Member Economic Luncheon featuring 2018 Augusta’s Entrepreneur Award Presentation

 

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce keynote speaker Jason Broadwater, founder and president of RevenFlo, for the December Member Economic Luncheon. The luncheon, featuring the 2018 Augusta’s Entrepreneur Award Presentation, will be held on Thursday, December 6, 11:30 am at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center.

 

The Chamber, with South State Bank, is pleased to honor the small business success of an individual in the CSRA region who has distinguished themselves not only by their success in business, but also by their creativity, innovative spirit and community involvement.

 

For the afternoon's program, Jason will discuss "Forward Momentum in the Augusta Region" - capitalizing on and perpetuating the momentum of the Augusta Region's economic and community development - including how the spirit of entrepreneurship is a key driving force for innovation within the growth of community.

 

Jason Broadwater is a consultant for community and organization development, and advocate for economic and community development. He was keynote at the 2018 ECG Economic Development Summit discussing the economic benefits of revitalizing downtown, as well as at the Second Annual Lorain (Ohio) County Economic Summit presenting on community visioning, strategic planning, revitalization and more. Broadwater was a Senior Fellow of Executive Leadership for Innovation in Economic Development at Harvard University. Jason currently resides in York County, South Carolina, and is actively involved in the community, including serving on the Boards of the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation and the Government Task Force of York County Regional Chamber.

 

The 2018 Augusta’s Entrepreneur Award is presented by South State Bank. The December Member Economic Luncheon series sponsors include Augusta Magazine, Augusta Riverfront, LLC, James M.
