Kimberly Handberry Barker Named Events and Marketing Manager at Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce

Augusta, GA (March 3, 2026) – The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the hiring of Kimberly Handberry Barker as its new Events and Marketing Manager.

In this role, Barker will lead the Chamber’s strategic marketing initiatives and oversee the planning and execution of signature events designed to support, connect, and promote the Augusta business community. She will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility, strengthening member engagement, and developing dynamic programming that reflects the Chamber’s mission of driving economic growth and opportunity throughout the region.

Barker brings an extensive background in public relations, marketing, real estate, and event management. With years of experience promoting professional services, managing large-scale events, securing media placements, and executing community-focused initiatives, she is well-positioned to elevate the Chamber’s outreach and event strategy.
