Leadership & Legacy at Augusta Metro Chamber March Women In Business

On Tuesday, March 15 at the Augusta Metro Chamber Women In Business Program, a panel of local women leaders will dive into what it means to lead in regard to mentoring, coaching, and training up the next generation.  Dr. Patrice Jackson, former AVP for Student Affairs at AU and Founder & Facilitator of EduCare Training and Consulting, Kim Evans, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta, Collette D’Antignac, AVP, Retail Banking Manager with Security Federal Bank, make it a part of their mission to groom & grow and mold future generations of women leaders.

 

Dr. Patrice Buckner Jackson, known in her community as Dr. PBJ, is an educator of over 20 years and an Executive Coach for more than 10 years.  She holds a doctoral degree in Education Administration, served in executive leadership at colleges and universities, and facilitates leadership training as a faculty member for the Center for Creative Leadership.  Dr. Jackson has worked in higher education at the highest levels and is the recipient of several professional awards and accolades.

 

Kim Evans’ involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs began with volunteering.  Kim previously worked in management accounting in the manufacturing and health care sectors.  Kim started a small accounting firm, Evans Accounting Services, and one of her clients, a Boys & Girls Club board member, recruited her to work with the organization. When the Boys & Girls Club CEO was promoted to the national level, Kim became interim CEO and ultimately promoted to Executive Director.

 

Collette D’Antignac is an 18-year veteran branch manager in Augusta, Ga with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry.  Collette is a strong sales and service management professional with a Bachelors Science Degree in Business Management from The University of Phoenix.  She is also a member of The National Society of Leadership, Leadership Augusta, and an Augusta Metro Chamber Board Member.

 

The Women In Business Program begins at 11:30 am at the Enterprise Mill Events Center.  Tickets are $30 for Chamber members and $40 for prospective members.  Advanced registration required at augustametrochamber.com. Registration deadline is Friday, March 11.
