PC Techware and Vinea Capital Named 2025 Best In Business by Augusta Metro Chamber
Augusta, GA (December 3, 2025) - At this year’s Best In Business award celebration, both recipients demonstrated not only the endurance it takes to succeed in business but also a strong commitment to our community and a positive impact on our local economy. The Augusta Metro Chamber’s annual Best In Business awards include Augusta’s Entrepreneur, presented by South State Bank, and Corporation of the Year, presented by last year’s recipient, Georgia Power, recognizing outstanding leaders and organizations making a meaningful difference across the region.
Today, at the Chamber’s final Member Economic Luncheon of the year, Russell Wyatt of PC Techware was honored as Augusta’s Entrepreneur for 2025, and Vinea Capital was named the 2025 Corporation of the Year. Both honorees embody the innovation, resilience, and community-focused values that define Augusta’s thriving business landscape.
Russell Wyatt, founder and CEO of PC Techware, has grown his company into one of the CSRA’s most trusted cybersecurity and compliance partners. With 25 years of engineering experience and a cybersecurity-first approach, he has led PC Techware to more than double its workforce and increase revenues by over 35% in the last three years. The company has strengthened its technical standards, adopted AI-driven triage, and built repeatable, audit-ready processes that improve speed and reliability for clients. PC Techware’s commitment to the CSRA is equally strong—95% of its clients are local, its entire payroll remains in the region, and the company contributes around $100,000 annually in donations and in-kind services to organizations including the Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, and Aquinas High School. In addition to these contributions, Russell will receive a seat on the Augusta Metro Chamber’s Board of Directors beginning in 2026. Russell’s leadership, community investment, and focus on developing local talent have made PC Techware a standout in Augusta’s growing technology sector.
Vinea Capital has been named Corporation of the Year for its significant growth and wide-ranging impact across the CSRA. With businesses spanning healthcare, real estate, sports and entertainment, and hospitality, the company is creating jobs and expanding services that meet essential community needs. Their enterprises include therapy programs for children with autism, services for adults with developmental disabilities, and a new flight school set to offer commercial pilot training in the region. In recent years, Vinea Capital has grown from 157 to 282 employees and increased revenues by more than 55%, with additional expansion expected in 2026. Through its foundation, the company has awarded nearly $700,000 to nonprofits supporting special needs populations, underserved youth, and initiatives aimed at breaking cycles of poverty. Guided by founder Allan Soto—recognized as one of Georgia Trend’s 500 Most Influential Georgians and GHCC’s 50 Most Influential Latinos—Vinea Capital continues to demonstrate purpose-driven leadership and a strong commitment to Augusta’s future.
