Panel of Experts from Elliott Davis to Discuss PPP Loan Forgiveness at Augusta Metro Chamber Webinar

On Tuesday, May 19, the Augusta Metro Chamber will host an educational webinar on Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness that features a panel of experts from Elliott Davis, whose Augusta office offers a full spectrum of services in the areas of tax, auditing and assurance, and consulting services.


Led by Moderator Bill Woodward, CPA, Shareholder and Augusta Office Leader for Elliott Davis, the panel of experts will provide the latest guidance for provisions of repayment & forgiveness of PPP Loans and current information regarding new income tax implications for small businesses receiving these loans & forgiveness.  The panel will also cover other provisions of stimulus funds as a must-attend event for all small businesses. 


Panelists include Peter K. Barton, CFA, a director in the Elliott Davis Charleston, SC office where he leads the firm’s business advisory practice, and JJ Littrell, CPA, Director of the Charlotte office.  JJ leads the Accounting Advisory practice, focusing on developing the Charlotte team and supervising accounting advisory work, as well as writing and documenting policies and procedures.  Additional panelists include Angela Ford, CPA, Senior Manager, and Jessica Cain, CPA, Principal, both in the Augusta office.  With more than 19 years of experience, Angela provides businesses with accounting, tax, and consulting services.  Jessica joined Elliott Davis in August 2006 and has more than 13 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax services.
