Third Thursday Business Builder with Mass Media Marketing Discussing ADA Website Compliance

Posted By: Kathryn Freemon News Releases,

On Thursday, August 18, the Augusta Metro Chamber and Mass Media Marketing will host a Third Thursday Business Builder focusing on ADA Compliance and Website Accessibility: Building a Better User Experience. Guests will hear from Mike Parsons and Rick Donaldson of Mass Media Marketing along with Ann Campbell-Kelly with Walton Options to learn if your business is following the federal law to make your website ADA compliant.

Mass Media Marketing and Walton Options have been seeing businesses rise in complaints and legal action over ADA website compliance issues. It is a federal law that your website must be ADA compliant, but most local businesses are unaware of this legal requirement. Rick and Mike will discuss the law, the real-life consequences if sued, how to avoid it and will be offering solutions. Ann will present from the point of view of the website host and from the perspective of those individuals who are disabled or serve the disable.

Ann Campbell-Kelly is the Director of Development & Communications for Walton Options for Independent Living. Along with the Development & Communications team, she is responsible for designing and implementing communications and written strategies for services and programs in Georgia & South Carolina.

He creates compelling advertising that places his client in front of the right person, at the right time and with the right message.
