Chamber President Featured Panelist on Small Business COVID-19 Webinar, April 30

Augusta, GA – The Augusta Metro Chamber is pleased to announce Sue Parr, President & CEO, as a featured panelist on the COVID-19 webinar for small businesses hosted by Mayor Hardie Davis, Jr. and Ashley Bell, SBA Regional Administrator & Entrepreneurship Policy Advisor for the White House Opportunity & Revitalization Council, on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.  Additional panelists include Jay Forrester, Regional President, South State Bank; and Dr. Richard Franza, Dean of the James M. Hull College of Business & Professor of Management, Augusta University.

 

The webinar will feature COVID-19 response and recovery updates from the federal and local level including updates on the Paycheck Protection Program.  Panelists will share information about how to work with your banker to withstand economic hardship, how to navigate local business networks and resources, and what to expect from the economy.

 

“This webinar will provide helpful information about how to access federal and local resources for small businesses,” said Mayor Hardie Davis. “Coronavirus has impacted businesses and families and it is important to connect our business community with resources to help them weather the storm.”
